The second English faculty

History of the faculty: In accordance to PD-1875 “On measures to further improvement the system of teaching foreign languages” dated December 10, 2012 and PD-1971 “On measures to improve functioning Uzbekistan State University of World Languages” English Faculty 1, English Faculty 2, English Faculty 3 were established on the basis of English Philology faculty 1 and English Philology faculty 2.

Currently, English faculty №2 has 5 specialized departments and 1 interfaculty department, which employs more than 130 professors and teachers. Among them: 1 Doctor of philological Sciences (DSc), 13-doctor of philosophy in philological Sciences (PhD).

All favorable conditions are created for students to study. The faculty has 1 hall of activists, 1 winter sports hall, 1 IRC (Information Resource Center) enriched with foreign educational literature and a kitchen for students.

There are 6 computer labs connected to the Internet where students can develop their self-study skills. To provide modern knowledge to students studying at the faculty, the following departments have been established.

Department of Integrated Course of  English №2;

Department of Theoretical Aspects of English №2

Department of Methodology of teaching English №2;

Department of English language in primary education;

Department of Physical Culture and Sports.
