On May 14, the Uzbekistan State World Languages University hosted the "Malaysia-Uzbekistan Culture" festival, graced by the presence of Professor Sabaria Suleiman and Professor Ravita from Malaysia's Sultan Idris University of Education. The festival was opened by Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, the rector of UzSWLU, who delivered an inaugural speech.
The event commenced with a captivating video showcasing the cultural highlights of both Malaysia and Uzbekistan. Following this, students showcased their talents through stage performances including poems, songs, dances, martial arts demonstrations, and a costume exhibition.
The festival also featured corners dedicated to the national dishes of Malaysia and Uzbekistan, offering participants a delightful culinary experience.
Throughout the program, students at UzSWLU gained valuable insights into Malaysian culture, enhancing their understanding of both countries' rich cultural heritage.
