Navruz was widely celebrated at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University.

On March 19, festive events were organized in each faculty of UzSWLU on the occasion of March 21 - Navruz national holiday.

During the festive events, active and talented students of the university sang national songs, and dances, stage performances, games, speeches, sports competitions and other traditional customs were performed, as well as each faculty, in accordance with this, prepared a table of national dishes belonging to 12 regions of our republic and presented a demonstration of our national clothes.

On the occasion, a sheep was slaughtered in the building of UzSWLU, located at 4 Zakovat Street. Uzbek national dish Pilav was cooked in 2 cauldrons and distributed to the students from other regions of the republic living in dormitory, in particular, to all those who participated in the holiday program.

In every faculty of the university, Navruz was celebrated with joy and enthusiasm, in a high spring mood.
