Attention students, We're excited to inform you about an upcoming event at The Uzbekistan State World Languages University. On April 19, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., the Faculty of Romano-Germanic Philology, Department of Applied German Language, will host a meeting with Swiss writer Peter Stamm. This event celebrates Mr. Stamm's visit to Uzbekistan and is expected to include Mr. Konstantin Obolensky, the Swiss Ambassador to Uzbekistan. Peter Stamm, a well-known German author, has received global recognition for his works, including "Loqayd dunyo," translated into Uzbek by Hafiza Kuchkarova, a senior teacher at our university. With translations in 40 languages worldwide, our Uzbek translation is the 41st. The meeting will be conducted in both Uzbek and German, offering a diverse experience.
