2026-06-17 12-34 On June 16, an expanded departmental scientific discussion was held at Uzbekistan State World Languages University on the dissertation submitted by Gulnazkhon Yuldashaliyevna Alimova for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philological Sciences, specialty 10.00.04 — Languages and Literatures of the Peoples of Europe, America, and Australia.
The dissertation topic was “A Pragmatic and Linguocultural Study of Slangisms (Based on British and American Youth Speech).” The discussion was conducted in both offline format and via the ZOOM online platform, with the participation of professors, researchers, subject specialists, and doctoral candidates.
