Scientific research conducted by the department:
Daliyeva Madina Xabibullayevna:
She has published two monographs: "Trends in the development of polysemy of linguistic terms in English, Uzbek, and Russian languages" and "Cognitive models of polysemy of linguistic terms". She has participated with articles and theses in 36 international journals and conferences.
Department achievements:
Daliyeva Madina Xabibullayevna defended her doctoral dissertation on October 9, 2024, on the topic "Cognitive models of polysemy of linguistic terms in English, Uzbek, and Russian languages", and obtained the academic degree of Doctor of Philology (PhD). The main principles, conclusions, and recommendations of the dissertation research were discussed at 5 national and 4 international scientific-theoretical and scientific-practical conferences.
She has published 37 scientific works, including 2 monographs. She has 14 scientific articles in journals recommended by the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan for publishing the main scientific results of doctoral research and 12 articles in foreign scientific journals.
Daliyeva Madina Xabibullayevna was awarded the state prize "Outstanding Educator of Higher Education" on October 1, 2023.
Each academic year, the department organizes international and national conferences for its graduates.
The department has established a scientific journal called Lingvospektr, which has been included in the list of recommended scientific publications by the Higher Attestation Commission (OAK).
Six professors in the department have a Google Scholar h-index of 6 or higher.
In January 2025, under the leadership of Daliyeva Madina Xabibullayevna, second-year master's student of the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages, Valiyeva Nargizakhon Zamir qizi, was nominated as a candidate for the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan’s state scholarship.
Furthermore, in October 2024, two graduates were sent to study in the United Kingdom based on the El-Yurt Umidi foundation.
The department has one foreign specialist working in the department.
