2026-05-26 11-57 An Extended Departmental Scientific Discussion of a dissertation was successfully held at Uzbekistan State World Languages University in both offline format and via the ZOOM online platform.
During the discussion, the dissertation submitted by Erkinjon Kamilovich Satibaldiyev for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philological Sciences in specialty 10.00.06 – “Comparative Literature, Contrastive Linguistics and Translation Studies” was comprehensively reviewed. The dissertation is entitled: “The Pragmatic Aspect of Plurilingualism and Linguistic Dominance in the Translation of Media Texts (Based on English, Russian and Uzbek Languages).”
During the discussion, participants expressed their views regarding the scientific novelty of the dissertation, its research methodology, practical significance, and the validity of the conclusions. Recommendations were also provided for further improvement of both the scientific and practical aspects of the work. The author provided comprehensive answers to all questions and comments raised.
At the conclusion of the discussion, relevant conclusions and recommendations were formulated, and the issue of admitting the dissertation to the next stage was considered.
