“One Book – One Thousand Friends” Project in Kungrad

As part of the “Friendship Festival” being held in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, a delegation from the Uzbekistan State World Languages University visited Secondary School No. 43 in the Kungrad district.

The visit was organized within the framework of the “One Book – One Thousand Friends” project implemented by the university’s Primary Organization of the Youth Union. As part of the initiative, nearly 600 fiction, popular science, and educational books were donated to the school library, contributing to the promotion of reading among students and enriching their knowledge and intellectual development.

 

 

During the meeting, members of the delegation held discussions with teachers and students on issues related to education, reading culture, foreign language learning, and the importance of acquiring modern knowledge and skills. Artistic performances presented by the students added a festive and inspiring atmosphere to the event.

For information, Secondary School No. 43 in Kungrad is one of the educational institutions attended by Qongirotboy Avezimbetovich Sharipov, the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The visit became an important initiative aimed at strengthening cooperation between educational institutions, promoting reading culture, and encouraging young people to pursue knowledge and enlightenment.
