The Department of Youth Affairs, Spirituality, and Enlightenment operates based on the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decrees and orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, orders of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the internal regulations of the university and the regulation of this department.

The Department of Youth Affairs, Spirituality, and Enlightenment implements a long-term, large-scale spiritual and moral education program aimed at nurturing healthy, intellectually mature, deep-thinking, and independent-minded young people by establishing democratic principles based on national and universal values, among the university community, especially among students.

The main goal of the Department of Spirituality and Enlightenment is to educate students and youth in the spirit of loyalty to national and universal values, expand their spiritual, aesthetic, and moral worldview, protect their thinking from the influence of alien ideas, and raise them as dedicated, patriotic citizens of independent Uzbekistan.

The main areas of activity of the Department are:

  • Forming students as true citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan based on national and universal values;

  • Preparing them to fulfill their civil and familial duties to the Homeland;

  • Increasing students' responsibility in mastering their profession;

  • Developing and improving personal qualities and unique characteristics of students;

  • Promoting social activity, initiative, respect for learning and profession, and social responsibility among students;

  • Developing social, political, and legal awareness, expanding critical and analytical thinking skills;

  • Raising awareness among students about negative phenomena, such as injustice, corruption, and parochialism;

  • Organizing meaningful leisure for students and facilitating their scientific and creative activities;

  • Enhancing spiritual, moral, and educational work.

The main tasks of the Department:

  • Promoting the ongoing reforms among students and youth;

  • Developing moral, aesthetic, political, legal, and artistic education among students;

  • Organizing events, roundtable discussions, and meetings dedicated to promoting national traditions and values;

  • Assisting in the improvement of students' physical and moral development;

  • Defining priority areas of spiritual and moral education in the university, developing and ensuring their implementation;

  • Combating religious extremism, terrorism, drug addiction, and organized crime, forming immunity to ideological threats among students;

  • Increasing the interest of youth in music, painting, literature, theater, and other forms of art, helping to reveal their talents;

  • Creating conditions for physical strengthening of youth and showing their abilities in sports;

  • Enhancing the spirituality of youth and promoting reading culture among them;

  • Systematically organizing activities aimed at helping female students to acquire professional skills.
