The main goal of the department: to focus them on theoretical subjects based on strengthening the practical subjects of students of the 3rd stage.

The main tasks of the department: to promote the improvement of theoretical and practical knowledge of students

Scientific direction of the Department: linguistics, pedagogy, methodology

Educational areas taught at the Department: foreign language and literature

Subjects taught at the department: an integrated course of teaching foreign languages, theoretical grammar and language history, theoretical phonetics, the formation of intercultural communication in the teaching of foreign languages, academic foreign language, cognitive semantics, literature and creativity,     

Scientific research work of the Department:

1. Organization of scientific seminars aimed at increasing the scientific potential of professors and teachers of the Department;

3. Preparation of textbooks, teaching aids by professors and teachers of the Department;

4. Guidance of professors and teachers of the department to publish articles in Scopus, Web of Science, impact factor and OAK listed journals; 

5. Establishment of international cooperation;

1. Erdanova Zebiniso Abilkosimovna v.b.the award of the title of associate professor, the possession of the publication certificate of 1 teaching manual, the recommendation of 1 teaching manual and 1 textbook for publication;

9. Turobova Ozoda Bahodirovna's graduate studies on a grant basis at the University of Leeds, England, TESOL traineri at Webster University;

10. Safarova Zarina Giyasovna, Mukhtashamova Parvina, Kasimkhojayeva Mo'tabar Alimjanovna, Rashidova Gulshoda Ilham did an internship at Idris University of Malaysia in a 144-hour course “Digital literacy and critical thinking skills in English”.

11. Alimova Dildora Kamiljonovna confirmed her scientific topic in the methodological direction for obtaining a doctorate in Philosophy (PhD) in Pedagogical Sciences.
