December 10-every year it is celebrated all over the world as international human rights day. The date was set as the date of the 1948 United Nations adoption of the Universal Declaration of human rights. This document served as an important step in the recognition, protection and development of the fundamental rights and freedoms of mankind.

On the occasion of this day, a seminar-training was held by Adiba Ma'diyeva, senior lecturer of the Department of World Literature of UzSWLU, with the participation of students of the Faculty of English Philology.

It referred to the present day by groups as a scene that reminds them that everyone has equal rights, that they have the right to justice and freedom, regardless of nationality, religion, gender, language and other differences. A number of problems were discussed in the skillfully performed performance.

This day calls for strengthening solidarity in the fight against the protection and violation of human rights throughout the world. Each of us should realize our responsibility in protecting human rights and contribute to the establishment of a fair and respectful society. Because where human rights are respected, Peace and prosperity prevail.
