On October 24, the rector of UzSWLU, prof. I.M.Tukhtasinov met with D. Ptyushkin, the director of the Russian Language Testing Center of Saint Petersburg State University of Russia, and I.Ilycheva, the center's methodologist.

During the dialogue, the parties agreed to open a certified test center for the Russian language under UzSWLU, as well as training local examiners, improving the teaching of Russian as a foreign language in Uzbekistan, improving the qualifications of professors and teachers, creating textbooks in co-authorship, exchange of teachers and students, establishment of joint educational programs, as well as cooperation in the field of scientific research.

In the end, the representatives of both universities supported the proposal to sign cooperation agreements, which are expected to be launched soon in directions that are beneficial for both parties.
