PhD Dissertation Defense Held at UzSWLU

On April 18, 2025, the 9th meeting of the Academic Council No. DSc.03/30.12.2019.Fil.27.01 at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University hosted the PhD dissertation defense in Philology by Rano Khasanova, daughter of Yo‘ldoshev, titled: “The Theme of the East in the Artistic and Journalistic Works of Annemarie Schimmel.”

The defense was attended by the university rector Ilhomjon Tuxtasinov, official opponents, and members of the academic council.

During the discussion, the relevance of the research, its scientific novelty, and the practical significance of its results were thoroughly analyzed.
