The Educational and Methodological Support Department (EMSD)

Department is one of the key departments responsible for organizing, developing, and improving the educational process at the university. It serves to enhance the quality and efficiency of the educational process.

Its main tasks are as follows:

• Implementing Presidential decrees, Cabinet of Ministers decisions, orders from the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and other instructions from higher authorities related to the educational process;

• Monitoring the execution of orders from the university rector, decisions of the Council, and the Educational and Methodological Council concerning the educational process;

• Familiarizing staff with the regulatory documents related to the educational process and ensuring their implementation;

• Studying and conducting comparative analysis of the educational programs of foreign leading higher education institutions;

• Developing, improving, and approving qualification requirements for educational programs and specialties, curricula, and working curricula;

• Monitoring the development and expert review of syllabuses and educational programs for each subject;

• Monitoring the correct calculation of the teaching load for departments, the distribution of teaching assignments for professors and teachers, and reviewing personal work plans and faculty staff schedules;

• Monitoring the development of personal work plans for professors and teachers;

• Preparing the plan for creating educational literature for professors and teachers for the academic year;

• Monitoring the process of preparing educational literature for new courses included in the curriculum;

• Monitoring the availability of methodological documents and literature for the educational process and organizing the creation of these materials;

• Conducting expert reviews of educational literature created by professors and teachers, presenting it for discussion at the Educational and Methodological Council, obtaining publishing permits, and delivering them to the authors;

• Improving the use of modern IT and pedagogical technologies in educational activities;

• Reviewing the execution of work plans by departments and personal work plans by professors and teachers;

• Reviewing and accepting reports on the execution of teaching loads in department work plans and personal work plans of professors and teachers, and participating in the preparation of the university's annual general report;

• Determining the total volume of annual teaching loads across the university and reviewing the teaching load distribution prepared by department heads.
