The Department of Integrated English Course No. 3 has been successfully operating since August 26, 2021, as an essential unit of the 3rd Faculty of English at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University. Within a short time, the department has achieved significant progress in educational, scientific, and methodological areas.

Modern teaching materials are developed and implemented in the learning process.
The department’s research focus is “Integrated Competence and English Language Teaching Methodology”. Ten independent researchers are currently conducting scientific work, and three lecturers have been accepted into PhD programs to enhance the department's academic potential.
The department has 23 full-time staff and 6 part-time instructors actively involved in research and academic-methodological work, contributing to its overall success.
Published academic articles, theses, and manuals by the teaching staff are helping boost the department’s reputation.
Within the international project "Young Researchers" in cooperation with Minsk State Linguistic University (Belarus), public speaking skills are developed through student master classes and presentations.
The teaching staff regularly participates in international training programs. In line with Presidential Decrees PF-5847 (2019) and PQ-2909 (2017), and under the memorandum between USWLU and the University of Portsmouth (UK), a 150-hour professional development course was held from June 3 to July 6, 2024. Staff members Maxzuna Qodiriy and Dilrabo Ahmedjanova trained in Portsmouth, while Feruzabonu Mannonova, Zarifa Ismoilova, and Muhayyo Ziyayeva received training in Finland.
Following the directives of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev during the video conference on December 13, 2024, the department organized preparatory English language courses in schools aimed at achieving B2-level proficiency.
International scientific and creative clubs such as “Young Researchers” and “Boosting Language Skills” focus on academic writing, conferences, and promoting innovative research ideas.
