Department of Applied Sciences of the Spanish Language:

History of the department: The Faculty of Romano-Germanic Philology, the Department of Applied Sciences of the Spanish Language was established in 2021.
Head of the department: doctor of philological sciences, professor vb Bakhronova Dilrabo Keldiyorovna.
Currently, 19 teachers are working in the department, 5 of them are senior teachers.

The department has one doctor of philological sciences (DSc), prof. Bakhronova Dilrabo Keldiyorovna works. 3 researchers are attached to the ITM under the department and they are about to go on defense.

Established cooperation with the department. The department maintains cooperation relations with the world's leading universities. Among them, he signed memoranda on scientific, educational and mobility with Madrid Complutense, Granada, Malaga, Valladolid universities of Spain, UAEMex of Mexico, Pontificia Bolivariana of Colombia.

Within the framework of cooperation, in the academic year 2021-2022, 2 professors from the University of Malaga conducted training sessions with students for one semester. In the academic year 2022-2023, Professor Virna Velazquez of the UAEMex University of Mexico conducted methodical and scientific seminar-trainings for professors and teachers of the Spanish language department for 3 months. Also, professors and teachers of the department have been awarded several times with diplomas and letters of thanks by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, the Ministry of Defense and HEIs.
