The department organizes spiritual and educational events held at the university, aimed at educating students in the spirit of boundless devotion to the ideas of national independence, love for the Motherland, faith in the Great and noble goal of building a free and prosperous country, courage and dedication. It also organizes and coordinates various scientific, creative and artistic circles, clubs and meetings in order to reveal the knowledge and potential of gifted student youth.

The main goal of the department: Educating students in the spirit of commitment to national and universal values, expanding their spiritual, aesthetic, moral worldview, protecting their thinking from the influence of various alien ideas and raising in them a truly selfless, patriotic personality of independent Uzbekistan.

The main objectives of the department: to form students as true citizens of the independent Republic of Uzbekistan based on national and universal values; to prepare them for the diligent fulfillment of civic and childhood duties to the Motherland; to improve students' professional skills; to increase responsibility; to form and improve personal and specific individual qualities of a student; to widely encourage students' sense of social activity, initiative, respect for their studies and profession, as well as social responsibility; to develop students' socio-political and legal consciousness, to expand their critical and analytical thinking skills; negative vices for student youth: injustice, arbitrariness, and parochialism that foreshadow negative consequences; meaningful organization of student youth's leisure time, organization of scientific and creative activities based on their interests; improvement of targeted spiritual, moral and educational work; wide propaganda of reforms carried out in the country in the context of the new Uzbekistan among student youth; establishing work on the formation of moral, aesthetic, political, legal and artistic education of students; organization of congresses, round tables and meetings dedicated to the promotion of national traditions and values; assistance in improving work to enhance the spiritual and physical development of students; determination of priority areas of spiritual, educational and upbringing work at the university, development of the necessary regulatory documents on this issue and ensuring its implementation; determination of ideological immunity among student youth in matters of combating religious extremism, terrorism, drug addiction and organized crime; fostering interest in music, painting, literature, theater and other types of art among young people, promoting the development of their talent; physical training of young people, creation of the necessary conditions for the manifestation of abilities in sports; increasing the spirituality of young people, increasing the culture of reading among them; systematic organization of work to assist female students in mastering a profession; Active participation in improving spiritual and educational work jointly with city and district departments of the Republican Center for Spirituality and Education, as well as funds and public organizations operating in our country.

Uzbekistan State World Languages University, as an organization, pursues an anti-discrimination and persecution policy.

The basic principles of the policy are reflected in the university’s code of ethics. The section “General Rules of Conduct for Team Members” states the following: Solidarity, mutual trust, respect, mutual care, and solidarity at the university are some of the important conditions in the interaction of team members.

Freedom of speech does not give the university administration, faculty, and students, who are members of the community, the right to slander or insult anyone, to demonstrate a disregard for generally accepted rules of conduct in relationships, or to use obscene language in communication. – At the university it should become a habit to address each other only as “You”.

Members of the university community must treat speakers with respect, peace, and tranquility at various events (meetings, ceremonial meetings, workshops, holidays). If necessary, one speaker may leave the room during a break before he or she can finish his or her speech. The section of the book entitled “Professor-teacher relations” states: In the relationship between professors and teachers – the principles of unity, mutual respect and attention, friendship, solidarity, honesty, and justice.

Disrespect for human dignity, humiliation, misappropriation of intellectual property, rudeness, use of obscene language, fights, moral, material, or physical harm to others is strictly prohibited in the relations between professors and teachers.
