A Community Clean-Up Event Was Organized at UzSWLU Under the Slogan “New Tree — New Breath”

Within the framework of the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan aimed at enhancing environmental awareness, as well as the nationwide “Yashil Makon” (“Green Space”) project, a large-scale environmental community clean-up event was organized at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University.

The event, held on the территории of the university’s main building, was attended by the university rector Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, members of the administration, and more than 100 students and young people.

During the event, held under the slogan “New Tree — New Breath,” nearly 400 ornamental and fruit tree saplings were planted across the area. The initiative contributed not only to improving the environment, but also to fostering ecological awareness and responsibility among young people.

Through this initiative, the university community is contributing to the expansion of green spaces, the promotion of environmental sustainability, and the creation of a healthy environment for future generations.

Internship activities for students were held within the framework of cooperation between the Uzbekistan State World Languages University and the Information Service of JSC “O‘zsuvta’minot”.

During the internship, students became closely acquainted with water resources management, environmental PR, and the activities of information services.

UzSWLU Students Won 2nd Place in the “Ecology of the Soul” Competition

Students of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University won an honorable 2nd place in the “Ecology of the Soul” drawing competition organized jointly by the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan and Tashkent State Technical University. The participants competed in the “Recycling and Waste Sorting” category, where their creative projects were highly appreciated by the jury. The winners were awarded diplomas and commemorative gifts.

UzSWLU Students Actively Participated in an Environmental Campaign in “Qizil Tog”

An environmental campaign under the slogan “We Support Harmony Between Humans and Nature!” was organized in the “Qizil Tog” area of Parkent district on the initiative of the Central Council of the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan, in cooperation with the Tashkent regional party organization, the Parkent district administration, and the sanitation company “Zero Waste” LLC. Students of groups XT2-2302 and XT2-2316 of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University, under the guidance of Associate Professor Raykhon Mudarisova from the Department of Ecology and Green Resources, actively participated in the event.

UzSWLU Students in Muynak: An Environmental Campaign Has Begun

This project aims to raise ecological awareness among young people, strengthen attention to nature, and draw public focus to the urgent environmental issues of the Aral Sea region.

Students Participated in a Nationwide Charity Hashar

In connection with the nationwide charity hashar held under the slogan “The prosperity of the homeland begins with the mahalla!”, students of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University also took part in the event, carrying out landscaping activities on the university campus. During the hashar, the area was cleaned, green spaces were organized, and trees were whitewashed.

A Basil Planting Campaign Was Organized at the Faculty of International Journalism of UzSWLU within the “Ecological PR” Course

This initiative was launched with the participation of 4th-year students of the “Information Service and Public Relations” program and, in a short time, brought together students from other fields as well.

A Nationwide Charity Hashar Was Widely Held at UzSWLU: Large-Scale Beautification Works Carried Out

Ahead of the Navruz holiday, a nationwide charity hashar is being held under the slogan “The prosperity of the homeland begins with the mahalla!”. During the event, the university community — faculty members, students, and staff — actively participated together in landscaping works, organizing the university territory, academic buildings, and offices.
