A Festive Event Dedicated to International Women’s Day Was Held at Uzbekistan State World Languages University
A festive event dedicated to March 8 – International Women’s Day was held at Uzbekistan State World Languages University.
A celebratory concert program titled “Sacred Woman” was organized in the Activists’ Hall of the university’s main building. The event was attended by the university’s professors, female staff members, and students.

The celebration was opened by the Rector of the university, Professor Ilxomjon Tuxtasinov, who warmly congratulated all female professors and staff members on International Women’s Day. In his speech, he emphasized the invaluable role of women in education, science, and social development, highlighting their dedication and active participation in the life of the university.
During the event, veteran teachers and devoted employees who have been working effectively at the university for many years were honored and presented with commemorative gifts.

The festive evening continued with a concert program featuring guest performers. In particular, performances by Honored Artist of Uzbekistan Ravshan Komilov, popular pop singer Xamdam Sobirov, and performer Umar Shamsiyev created a joyful and uplifting atmosphere.
Students of the university also presented stage performances, dances, and musical acts, which were warmly received by the audience. At the end of the celebration, gifts were presented to women as a sign of respect and appreciation, leaving everyone with a festive and uplifting mood.
