On May 6, a memorandum signing ceremony was held between the Uzbekistan State World Languages University and the University of Military Security and Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan, aimed at further developing mutual cooperation in the fields of education, scientific research, and innovation.
The event was attended by Major General F. Shermatov, First Deputy Head of the University of Military Security and Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan; Colonel S. Abdurayimov, Deputy Head; and Lieutenant Colonel Sh. Tukhliyev, Head of the Department for Scientific and Innovative Initiatives. Representing UzSWLU were Rector I. Tukhtasinov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs M. Chutpulatov, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation O. Yusupov, and Head of the Department of Practical Spanish Language Disciplines D. Bakhranova.
During the meeting, the parties thoroughly discussed priority areas of cooperation. In particular, they considered expanding collaboration in education, introducing modern teaching materials and advanced methodologies in foreign language instruction, developing scientific research and innovation activities, as well as jointly organizing spiritual and educational events, competitions, and sports activities aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle.
During the visit, the delegation members also became acquainted with the university’s modern infrastructure and the conditions created for educational and research activities.
The parties especially emphasized that the signed memorandum would contribute to strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation between the two higher education institutions, expanding the exchange of advanced experience, further improving the quality of education, and enhancing the system for training competitive specialists.
