A new bridge is being built between higher education in Uzbekistan and Germany!

Today, on November 20, 2025, as part of the First Uzbekistan–Germany Rectors’ Forum, an important meeting took place between Ilhomjon Tuxtasinov, Rector of the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages, and Professor Matthias Bauer, President of Paderborn University.

During the discussion, the parties agreed to actively cooperate in the following areas:

teacher and student exchange programs;

organization of language and professional internships;

professional development courses;

joint scientific research projects on topical issues;

organization of summer and winter schools for students.

This meeting takes the cooperation between the higher education systems of the two countries to a new level and opens wide international opportunities for thousands of our young people!
