A New Defense Department Building Commissioned in Uchtepa District

Today, a new administrative building of the district defense department was officially opened in the Uchtepa district.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Mayor of the capital, Shavkat Umurzakov, Deputy Mayor of Tashkent city Durdona Rahimova, representatives of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan, community activists, as well as the Rector of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University and Deputy of the 19th “Farhod” electoral district of the Uchtepa District Council of People’s Deputies, Ilhomjon Madaminovich Tuxtasinov.

The administrative complex occupies an area of 0.20 hectares and includes:

• a modern administrative building;

• 24 service rooms;

• a separate conscription center;

• a garage for special-purpose vehicles.

The facilities created will significantly improve the quality of work with conscripts, reserve servicemen, and youth, as well as ensure more effective organization of activities in the field of defense and mobilization preparedness. The new building has been officially commissioned.
