On December 10, a PhD dissertation defense in philological sciences was held at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages (UzSUWL). The event took place offline at the University Academic Council meeting and was also organized online via the Zoom platform.

The dissertation was defended by Dilnoza Aminova Khikmatullayevna in the specialty 10.00.06 – Comparative Literary Studies, Comparative Linguistics and Translation Studies, on the topic: “Polysemy of Military Terminology in English, Russian and Uzbek in the Context of Intercultural Communication.”

The university rector Ilhomjon Tukhtasinov and official opponents participated in the defense. During the event, the dissertation research, methodology, and results were thoroughly discussed.
