A REGULAR PRODUCTION MEETING WAS HELD UNDER THE CHAIRMANSHIP OF THE RECTOR OF UZBEKISTAN STATE UNIVERSITY OF WORLD LANGUAGES

Today, a regular production meeting was held under the chairmanship of Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, Rector of Uzbekistan State University of World Languages. The meeting was attended by all vice-rectors, rector’s advisers, deans of faculties, and heads of departments and divisions.

In accordance with the agenda, the meeting discussed issues related to the effective organization of the educational process in the new academic year, the state of the educational process at faculties and departments, student attendance, and compliance with internal rules and regulations.

Particular attention was paid to work with students, reviewing their appeals and requests, systematically organizing spiritual and educational activities, as well as the conditions in student residence halls and the state of educational and mentoring work.

The meeting also addressed the development of the university’s research activities and innovative projects, the fulfilment of established research performance indicators by faculties and departments, and measures to enhance the research capacity of academic staff.

The participants also discussed ongoing efforts to develop international cooperation, expand relations with foreign higher education institutions, and improve the university’s performance in international rankings.

At the same time, relevant tasks were set to strengthen financial discipline, systematize the process of collecting outstanding tuition fees, and enhance internal control mechanisms.

The meeting also considered preparations for festive events to be held at the university on the occasion of 1 October — Teachers’ and Mentors’ Day. Instructions were given to ensure the events are organized at a high level, coordinate organizational activities, and ensure the timely implementation of the assigned tasks by those responsible.

At the conclusion of the meeting, relevant assignments were given to responsible officials on all agenda items, and the implementation of the set tasks was placed under control.
