A Scientific Analysis of the Female Perspective in Asian-American Literature at Uzbekistan State World Languages University

On April 8, 2025, the sixth meeting of the Scientific Council for awarding academic degrees DSc.03/30.12.2019.Fil.27.01 was held at Uzbekistan State World Languages University.

During the meeting, the dissertation of Ollaberganova Dilnoz Qodirbergannovna, titled "Research on the Female Perspective in Asian-American Diaspora Literature (Using the Works of M. Yusupzoy and H. Hosseini as Examples)," was defended for the award of a PhD in Philology in the specialty 10.00.04 – Language and Literature of the Peoples of Europe, America, and Australia.

The dissertation analyzed the voice of female authors in contemporary Asian-American literature, the gender approaches reflected in their works, the female experience shaped in an intercultural environment, and the artistic means of expression. The relevance of the topic, the consistency of the chosen methodology, and the new scientific approaches attracted significant attention from the public.

The defense process was attended by the rector of Uzbekistan State World Languages University, Professor Ilkhomjon Tuxtasinov, official opponents, prominent philological scholars, doctoral candidates, and representatives of the academic community.
