A scientific-theoretical seminar was held at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages on May 25 with the support of the Academy of Korean Studies.
The seminar on the topic "Central Asia and Korea: economic and cultural relations" was organized for foreign participants, university teachers, researchers, doctoral students, and master's students on the basis of the international project "Linguistic and cultural aspects of teaching Korean language and literature in the Republic of Uzbekistan" Seed Program for Korean Studies.
The main goal of the seminar, which was organized by the initiative of the Research Center of Korean Studies at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages, is to increase the linguistic, didactic and pedagogical competence of teachers of general and vocational education, to strengthen cooperation between universities and exchange experience in the field of teaching foreign languages, to introduce innovative and introduction of information and communication technologies.
The seminar was organized in Korean, Uzbek, Russian and English languages. According to the results of the scientific seminar, it is planned to publish the "Collection of Scientific Works" with ISBN, UDC, BBK indexes and a digital permanent identifier, and place the collection on the Google School international scientometric platform.
