On February 12, a spiritual and educational event dedicated to the birthdays of the great thinkers Alisher Navoi and Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur was held at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages.
The event was attended by representatives of the university administration, professors, teachers, and students. The program was opened with an introductory speech by the rector of the university, I. Tukhtasinov, who provided detailed information about the relevance and significance of the works of these two great figures.
As a guest of the event, the talented pop star Malika Egamberdiyeva performed songs based on the works of Navoi and Babur, sharing a festive mood with the audience. Talented students performed music, songs, stage performances, and ghazals, leaving unforgettable impressions on the participants.
The event, organized by the third faculty of the English language department, was highlighted for the beautiful and expressive performance of the ghazals of these two great cultural figures by the students. The rector of the university, Ilkhomjon Tuhtasinov, emphasized that the students who performed the ghazals most beautifully would be sent to study in Malaysia. This was an unexpected and joyous announcement for the students and all attendees.
