2026-08-21 11-16 Academic Seminar: Dissertation Research Discussed
The next academic seminar was held at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages.
During the seminar, the PhD dissertation of Gulcharos Murat qizi Sotiboldiyeva, prepared in the specialty 10.00.06 – Comparative Literature and Translation Studies, was discussed. The dissertation is entitled “Communicative Features of Lexical Transformations in Literary Text Translation (Based on Literary Translations from English into Uzbek)”.
The researcher presented the main content and scientific findings of the dissertation. During the discussion, opinions were expressed on the relevance of the topic and the scientific, theoretical, and practical significance of the research. The reviewers also provided suggestions and recommendations regarding the dissertation.
At the conclusion of the seminar, relevant opinions were expressed and conclusions were drawn regarding the dissertation research.
