An Extended Departmental Scientific Discussion of the Dissertation Was Held

On January 6, an extended departmental scientific discussion of a dissertation was held at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University. The discussion was organized both offline and via the ZOOM online platform.

During the discussion, the dissertation of Eldorjon Yovmiddinovich Shermatov, submitted for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pedagogical Sciences in the specialty 13.00.02 – Theory and Methodology of Education and Training (English Language), entitled
“Principles of Creating an Electronic Platform for Methodological Support of Foreign Language Teaching for Journalism Students,” was reviewed.

Throughout the scientific discussion, comprehensive opinions were expressed regarding the relevance of the research, its scientific novelty, theoretical and practical significance, as well as the possibilities of implementing the research results in the educational process.

At the conclusion of the discussion, appropriate conclusions were drawn, and the dissertation was recommended for the next stage in accordance with the established procedure.
