On April 15, an international scientific and practical conference titled “Challenges and Solutions of Globalization in Modern Linguistics, Language Policy, and Linguistic Identity” was held at the Third Faculty of English at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University.
The conference was dedicated to актуal issues of modern linguistics, focusing on the challenges of language policy and linguistic identity in the context of globalization, as well as their possible solutions.

The event was opened by the Rector of the University, Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, who in his speech emphasized the importance of ongoing research in linguistics, the development of international cooperation, and support for young researchers.
Both international and local scholars actively participated in the conference, delivering scientific presentations. Among them were Tony Liddicoat, Michelle Bedecker, Musa Yavuz Alptekin, Mahanbet Djusupov, Sedigheh Shakib Kotamjani, Ergasheva Guli Ismailovna, and Rebecca Reel, who shared their views on current issues in modern linguistics.
During the conference, topics such as language policy, intercultural communication, and the preservation of linguistic identity in a global environment were thoroughly discussed, and participants engaged in productive exchanges of ideas.

The conference was recognized as an important academic platform for strengthening scientific cooperation, exchanging experience, and developing new approaches in the field of linguistics.
