An official meeting was held between the Rector of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University, Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, and a representative of the British Council, Umida Nurjanova.

During the cordial and professional discussion, both sides addressed the strengthening and expansion of their long-standing successful cooperation within the framework of the international IELTS examination system. The meeting focused on promising areas such as improving the quality of education, implementing international standards for students and teachers, and developing English language proficiency assessment systems.

It was particularly emphasized that this meeting marks a new stage in the strategic partnership between USWLU and the British Council and will contribute to improving foreign language teaching and assessment systems in the country.
