An Open Dialogue on “A Future Without Corruption” Held at UzSWLU

On May 29, an open dialogue titled “A Future Without Corruption” was held at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University. The event presented key initiatives in the fight against corruption, along with projects aimed at increasing youth engagement.

 

 

The dialogue was opened by Valijon Sadiyev, the First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work, who emphasized in his speech the invaluable role of educational institutions—especially student communities—in combating corruption.

Bahodir Hoshimov, Head of the Compliance Control Department, also spoke about the essence of the competitions and their significance in fostering legal awareness among young people. He highlighted that such initiatives help nurture the younger generation in the spirit of honesty, justice, and respect for the rule of law.

 

 

As part of the event, winners of the university-level stages of the following competitions were awarded:

  • “Best Articles” competition held under the slogan “No to Corruption for a Green Future”;

  • “Legal Correspondent” role-playing competition on the topic “A Future Without Corruption”;

  • University stage of the Republican Essay Contest among students aimed at fighting corruption.

The winners were presented with honorary certificates and commemorative gifts.

This event played an important role in helping students deeply understand the negative impacts of corruption, methods to combat it, and the principles of legality.
