Regulations on the Organization and Conduct of the National Contest “O‘zbegim Zebolari”
R E G U L A T I O N S
This document outlines the procedure for organizing and holding the national contest “O‘zbegim Zebolari” (hereinafter referred to as "the contest") as part of the “Important 90 Days” project. It aims to enhance the role of women in society, support their talents in music, art, and literature, and implement the Presidential Decree PF-208 (December 21, 2023) and the Tashkent City Mayor’s Resolution №31-14-0-Q/25 (January 21, 2025).
Chapter 1. General Provisions
1.1. The contest is open to students and teachers of general education, secondary special, and higher educational institutions, as well as creative women aged 7 to 30.
1.2. Participants may perform freely, according to Section 4.1.
1.3. All organizational matters are handled by the Organizing Committee.
Chapter 2. Objectives
2.1. The main goals are:

To increase women’s appreciation of national culture and attire;

To provide a creative platform for girls interested in culture and the arts;

To enhance women's artistic and performance skills;
-
To organize informative and cultural campaigns promoting national values.
Chapter 3. Participation
3.1. The contest is organized in cooperation with the Women’s Committee of Uzbekistan, the Ministries of Culture, Higher Education, and Preschool & School Education.

Chapter 4. Terms of Conduct
4.1. The contest will be held August 26–30, 2025 in the following categories:

Traditional singing
-
Traditional instrumental performance
-
Literature
-
Pop singing
-
Pop instrumental performance
-
Design
-
Theater arts
-
Dance arts
4.2. Conditions:
-
All participants must wear national attire
-
Solo: max 6 minutes; Groups: max 10 minutes

Perform 1 or 2 selected works
4.3. Group size: up to 6 participants
4.4. Age groups:
-
Group 1: 7–10 years
-
Group 2: 11–14 years
-
Group 3: 15–17 years
-
Group 4: 18–22 years
-
Group 5: 23–26 years
-
Group 6: 27–30 years
4.5. Participation fee:
-
Individual: 150,000 UZS
-
Groups (2+): 250,000 UZS (max 6 members)

Chapter 5. Evaluation
5.1. Each judge scores individually using a 25-point scale.
5.2. Winners are determined by total points.
5.3. Grand Prix awarded at jury’s discretion.
5.4. Jury decisions are final and not subject to appeal.
5.5. Awards include diplomas, gifts, and Grand Prix (1 million UZS).
Teachers and supervisors receive certificates of appreciation.
Chapter 6. Responsibilities of the Organizing Committee
6.1. Ensure high-quality event organization
6.2. Maintain transparency
6.3. Conduct a gala concert and engage media
6.4. Publicly promote participants and events
6.5. Prepare official certificates
Chapter 7. Final Provisions
7.1. Disputes will be resolved by the Organizing Committee.
