Another Strategic Meeting in Barcelona

One of Spain’s leading higher education institutions — Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) — is ranked 172nd in the QS World University Rankings and is among Europe’s advanced research universities.

The university hosts over 40,000 students, including more than 10,000 international students from over 100 countries, making it a truly global academic environment.

 

 

Representatives of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University — Dr. Dilrabo Baxronova, DSc in Philology, Professor and Head of the Department of Practical Spanish Studies, and Dr. Lochin Zaripov, DSc in Pedagogy, Professor and Head of the Education Quality Control Department — were warmly received at UAB.

The delegation was welcomed by the following senior representatives:
— Oscar Jané — Vice-Rector for International Relations
— Ana García — representative of the Vice-Rector’s office
— Montserrat Alegre — responsible for international institutional relations and agreements

This composition clearly reflects the high-level and strategic importance of the meeting.

Main directions of the visit:
– expansion of institutional cooperation
– development of academic mobility and exchange programs
– implementation of new opportunities within Erasmus+ KA171
– joint scientific research and project development

This meeting serves as a solid foundation for future large-scale international cooperation.

 

 

The UAB campus is located in Bellaterra and is known as a fully developed modern “academic city.”
