2026-08-01 10-31 Applications for Student Dormitories Open Today!
According to the Regulation approved by the Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 376 dated August 14, 2023, students may submit applications for student dormitories through the my.gov.uz portal starting August 1.
In accordance with the Regulation, applicants who are entitled to privileges and priority status will be accommodated first.
The remaining places will then be allocated to students on the general waiting list according to the following quotas:
- 55–65% for first-year students;
- 15–20% for second-year students;
- 20–25% for third-year and higher-year students.
Applications will be accepted from August 1 until the end of the academic year.
Please note: Applicants recommended for admission to the first year of higher education institutions for the 2026/2027 academic year may submit their applications after the final admission results are announced. Dormitory places will also be allocated to them under the same procedure.
Greater Convenience for Students
Student dormitory accommodation and temporary residence registration are now processed automatically through a composite (integrated) public service.
What has changed?
Previously, after moving into a dormitory, students had to collect separate documents and apply to other government agencies to obtain temporary residence registration.
Now these services have been integrated, eliminating unnecessary paperwork and saving time.
Once your dormitory application is approved, you will receive an electronic contract and a placement confirmation.
After paying the accommodation fee specified in the contract, the composite service will be activated automatically, and the payment for temporary residence registration will be generated.
Once the registration fee is paid, you will receive an official confirmation of your temporary residence registration.
Important: The temporary residence registration is valid from the date of payment until the expiration date specified in the contract.
