Award ceremony for the winners of the “University Princess” contest held

Today, the Uzbekistan State World Languages University hosted a solemn award ceremony for the winners of the student girls’ contest “University Princess.”

The event was opened by Rector Ilkhomjon Madaminovich Tuxtasinov, who spoke about the significance of the competition. He emphasized that such contests play an important role in revealing students’ knowledge and potential, developing leadership skills, speech culture, and fostering a healthy competitive environment.

During the contest, participants competed in three main categories:

1. Sports competitions — running, jumping, and basketball.
2. Reading test — assessing knowledge of selected literary works.
3. Cooking competition — preparing the national dish pilaf, demonstrating culinary skills and creativity.

Each stage was evaluated fairly by the jury according to established criteria. Today, the final results were announced, and the winners were awarded.

Winners and awards by nominations:
• “Miss University” — Xudayqulova Shaxzoda Anvar qizi (Faculty of Romano-Germanic Philology)
Award: a 5x scholarship, a passing crown, and a 1-year study grant in Germany.

• Other nomination winners (“Miss Cook”, “Miss Beauty”, “Miss Reader”, “Miss Athlete”, “Miss Grace”, “Miss Talent”, “Miss Wisdom”, “Miss Smile”, “Miss Creativity”, “Miss Creative”, “Miss Charm”, “Miss Elegance”)
Award: a 3x scholarship.

• All other participants
Award: a 1x scholarship.

At the ceremony, Rector Ilkhomjon Madaminovich Tuxtasinov presented diplomas and commemorative gifts to the winners. The contest once again proved to be an important platform for developing students’ knowledge, talents, and social engagement.
