2026-10-13 11-20 Awareness Is the Need of the Times: Towards a Healthy Lifestyle and a Safer Future
Awareness-raising activities aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle among young people, improving their health literacy, and preventing dangerous diseases are continuing.
In this regard, a meeting was organized at the Faculty of International Journalism on the initiative of Deputy Dean D. Khoshimova and tutor M. Abdullayeva. The event aimed to support students’ physical health alongside the development of their intellectual and spiritual potential.
The meeting was attended by Muhammadjon Zoirovich Zoirov, a physician from the Tashkent City AIDS Control Center. In his presentation, the specialist provided detailed information about the causes of HIV infection and AIDS, their effects on the human body, preventive measures, and modern approaches in medicine. Particular emphasis was also placed on safe lifestyle practices that should be followed in everyday life.
During the discussion, students received clear and evidence-based answers from the specialist to all their questions.
