May 22 is celebrated as International Biodiversity Day.

This day was announced by the UN General Assembly in 1995. The entire diversity of life on our planet is rapidly declining today: plants are dying, animals are disappearing.

On the occasion of International Biodiversity Day, Deputy Deans Lyamkina V.A., Akhmedov K.I., Dadakhanov A.N. under the guidance of Russian philology faculty tutors Ochilova S., Abdurakhmonova Sh. and Toshkhojaeva D. organized an excursion for students to the 63rd flower festival in Namangan region.

More than 300 species of flower seedlings were planted on 16 hectares of land at the festival held in the park named after Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur in Namangan.
This bright and inspiring event allowed students not only to enjoy the beauty of flowers, but also to touch the cultural and biological wealth of Uzbekistan.
