Chairman of the Higher Attestation Commission Visits Uzbekistan State World Languages University

Today, Ahmadbek Yusupov, Chairman of the Higher Attestation Commission under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations, paid a visit to Uzbekistan State World Languages University. As part of the visit, a meeting was held with the university administration and researchers engaged in scientific activities.

The meeting was attended by the Rector of the University, Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, independent researchers, and young scholars. During the discussion, issues related to the development of research activities in the country, improvement of the procedures for awarding academic degrees, enhancement of the quality of dissertations, as well as existing challenges within the academic supervision system and possible solutions were addressed.

Researchers shared their suggestions and feedback regarding organizational aspects of dissertation defense, documentation-related complexities, the functioning of academic councils, and difficulties encountered in applying current regulatory and legal documents.

The Chairman of the Higher Attestation Commission provided detailed explanations on these matters, emphasizing that ensuring transparency in the scientific sphere and creating favorable conditions for researchers are among the key priorities.

At the conclusion of the meeting, a number of proposals aimed at strengthening scientific potential, supporting young scientists, and further enhancing the research environment at the university were put forward.
