Assalamu alaykum, dear compatriots!
Distinguished teachers and our university team!
Dear students!
May you all be blessed with a new day, a holiday of awakening, renewal and a new breath that embodies our national values, customs, and thousand-year-old traditions of our hardworking people.
Today, a new day - Navruz - the guest of our country. Our thousand-year history is reflected in this great holiday. Since ancient times, our noble people have specially waited for this day as the beginning of blessings. On this day, new seedlings and saplings are planted in the ground. Grain has been sown. It is a reflection of blessing and sustenance. Indeed, the seed planted today will surely bear fruit tomorrow.
We are entrusted with a great responsibility so that our youth, who are the hope of our tomorrow, will bear fruit in the future like these seedlings. The new perspective of our country is determined by the enthusiasm of educated, creative, experienced, broad-minded young individuals. I would like to express my gratitude to all the team of our university, who are diligently serving in the education of such young people and for the development of our country.
Today, our students are at their homes where they were born and raised, with the intention of visiting their family. In the face of you, dear students, I congratulate all your family members on this occasion.
May the beginning of the Eastern New Year bring new blessings and tranquility to our motherland. May we all be blessed with today's spring day, which opens the page of new and purification days in the changing seasons of the universe. Let our scientific research be fruitful. Let peace and harmony be the main motto of humanity!
Happy Navruz to all of us!
Rector of UzSWLU, Professor Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov.
