Cooperation Meeting Held Between Uzbekistan State World Languages University and University of Lleida, Spain
On July 25, an official meeting was held between the Uzbekistan State World Languages University (UzSWLU) and the University of Lleida (Spain) with the aim of developing and strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation.
The University of Lleida was represented by Dr. Toni Granollers Saltiveri, Vice-Rector for International Relations; Guzman Mancho Bares, Deputy Dean for International Affairs of the Faculty of Philology; and Professor Maria Calero Fernandez. From UzSUWL, the meeting was attended by Hamidullo Khakimov, Dean of the Faculty of Romance-Germanic Philology; Adilbek Khalillayev, Head of the Registrar’s Office; Husanboy Yuldashev, Head of the International Relations Department; and Iroda Turamuratova, Head of the Department of Theoretical Spanish Language Studies.
During the meeting, the parties agreed to cooperate in the following areas:

Implementation of student and faculty exchange programs within the framework of the EU Erasmus+ program;

Joint scientific research and co-authorship of academic publications;

Organization of international scientific seminars and conferences;

Involvement of professors from the University of Lleida in teaching at UzSUWL;

Practical implementation of promising academic initiatives.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties exchanged views on the importance of utilizing available opportunities efficiently and expanding academic and scientific cooperation.
This visit marked a significant step toward strengthening collaboration between the two institutions, fostering knowledge exchange and promoting international academic partnerships.
