Cooperation with UAEMex: Another Online Session Dedicated to Experience Exchange Held

Students of the Spanish language program took part in another online lecture delivered by instructors and graduate students from the prestigious UAEMex (Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México).

This session marked another productive stage of international cooperation between the two universities, providing students with not only academic knowledge but also broader opportunities for cultural exchange.

In today’s globalized world, the importance of distance education continues to grow. Direct communication with international professors, joint projects, virtual seminars, and online learning programs have become an integral part of modern education. Such online sessions expand the possibilities for pursuing dual-degree programs remotely, prepare students for the international academic environment, enhance language skills and intercultural competence, and strengthen ties with universities around the world.

As President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has emphasized, along with full-time and evening education, the gradual introduction and development of the distance learning system is one of the country’s strategic priorities.

The ongoing cooperation with UAEMex is opening new opportunities for students of Uzbekistan State University of World Languages  in the global educational arena. In the near future, the partnership is expected to be further strengthened through joint programs, academic seminars, and new projects.

The program was supervised by the Dean of the Faculty of Languages at UAEMex, Professor Virna Velásquez, Professor Dilrabo Bakhronova from the Department of Applied Spanish Language Studies, and instructor Fotima Abdullayeva. Each class was conducted in small groups of 2–3 students, with a total of about 30 participants.
