2026-10-22 12-39 CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL EVENT DEDICATED TO UZBEK LANGUAGE DAY
To mark October 21 — Uzbek Language Day, a cultural and educational event was organized on the initiative of S. Rakhmatova, a tutor at the Faculty of Oriental Philology of Uzbekistan State World Languages University, and A. Mukhitdinova.
The event was opened by Ulugbek Nazarov, Deputy Dean for Youth Affairs. In his address, he emphasized the importance of the mother tongue in expressing and preserving our national identity, spirituality, and culture.
The programme featured various stage performances, traditional Uzbek dances, and Chinese dances. The artistic performances created a special atmosphere and brought joy and enthusiasm to the participants.
The event aimed to strengthen respect and appreciation for the mother tongue, celebrate national values, and broaden students’ cultural and educational horizons.
