Discussions Held on Launching the “Bibliometric Research” Course

On April 6, a meeting dedicated to the organization of the “Bibliometric Research” course was held at the Network Center for Retraining and Advanced Training of Pedagogical Staff under Uzbekistan State University of World Languages.

The meeting was attended by University Rector I. Tuxtasinov, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work and Innovations O. Yusupov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation A. Nasirov, Head of the Department of Research, Innovations, and Training of Scientific-Pedagogical Staff K. Muradkasimova, and Network Center Director J. Abduganieva.

Additionally, the founder of the “Bibliometric Research” course and a Scopus high-performance expert, Zulfiya Kannazarova, participated as a guest.

During the meeting, the course structure and implementation mechanisms were thoroughly discussed. It was emphasized that the course will cover important areas for young scientists, faculty members, PhD and DSc doctoral candidates, and independent researchers, including:
— developing skills in working with Scopus and Web of Science databases
— preparing scientific articles according to IMRAD standards
— learning the publication process in international scientific journals

At the conclusion of the meeting, agreements were reached to launch the course based on modern approaches, widely apply international experience, and enhance the efficiency of scientific research.
