On November 15, the DSC, which provides scientific degrees at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University of .03/30.12.2019. Phil.27.01 the next session of the Scientific Council was held.

It included the defense of Bakirova Khilolakhon Bottialievna's dissertation, written on 13.00.02 – on the specialty of theory and methodology of Education and education on the topic “development of lexical competence of future engineers in English lessons (on the example of terms of the energy sector)” for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pedagogical Sciences.

In the defense of the dissertation, which took place offline and through the ZOOM online platform, the rector of UzSWLU, Prof. Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, members of the Scientific Council, official opponents and other university officials took part.

The researcher, speaking about the result of the studies carried out within the framework of his topic, its novelty, answered questions of interest to the members of the scientific seminar. According to the final conclusions Bakirova Khilola Bottiraliyevna was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the specialty 13.00.02 – theory and methodology of Education and training (English language).
