Doctor of Science (DSc) Dissertation Defense in Pedagogical Sciences Held

On February 10, a meeting of a one-time specialized academic council dedicated to the defense of a Doctor of Science (DSc) dissertation in pedagogical sciences was held at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University. The meeting was conducted in an offline format as well as via the ZOOM online platform.

At the meeting, the doctoral dissertation of Abdullaeva Feruza Suyunovna, prepared under the specialty 13.00.02 — Theory and Methodology of Education and Training (English Language), entitled “The Concept of Forming Professional Foreign Language Communicative Competence of Students in Tourism Education Programs (Based on the English Language)”, was discussed.

During the defense, detailed opinions were expressed regarding the relevance of the research, its scientific novelty, and its theoretical and practical significance. The event was attended by the Rector of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University, Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, as well as the official opponents — Abdullaeva Rozanna Mirzatullayevna, Mamatkulov Khurshid Abdurashidovich, and Rustamova Adash Eshankulovna, who presented their evaluations and comments on the dissertation.

Throughout the defense process, comprehensive discussions were held on the relevance and theoretical and practical value of the research. Based on the expressed opinions and conclusions, the dissertation was evaluated in accordance with the established requirements, and the academic council made the relevant decisions.
