2026-10-13 09-33 DSc DISSERTATION DEFENCE HELD AT UzSWLU
On 13 October 2026, Uzbekistan State World Languages University (O‘zDJTU) hosted the defence of Madina Nosirovna Musurmankulova’s dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philological Sciences (DSc) in Speciality 10.00.13 — Comparative and Contrastive Linguistics. The dissertation is entitled “A Comparative and Contrastive Study of the Names of Buildings, Structures, and Construction in Russian, English, and Uzbek.”
The meeting of the Academic Council was attended by O‘zDJTU Rector Ilkhomjon Tuxtasinov, official opponents, the academic supervisor, reviewers, and members of the council. During the defence, participants shared their views on the scientific novelty of the dissertation, its theoretical and practical significance, the research findings, and their contribution to the field of linguistics. The candidate’s answers to questions were also heard, followed by a discussion of the research.
The dissertation defence was considered at the meeting of the Academic Council in accordance with the established procedure.
