Emergency Preparedness Meeting Held for UzSWLU Students

On September 11, the Uzbekistan State World Languages University hosted a meeting focused on emergency prevention and adherence to safety regulations for students.

The event featured Lieutenant Colonel O. Jumaev, Head of the Uchtepa District Emergency Department, who provided students with in-depth information about preventing natural and man-made emergencies in higher education institutions and mitigating their consequences.

Special attention was given to fire safety during the autumn-winter season, proper use of heating appliances, and preventing carbon monoxide poisoning. Students were given key recommendations and instructions, and once again reminded to stay alert and act responsibly.

UzSWLU Rector Ilhomjon Tuxtasinov also took part in the event. He emphasized the importance of such meetings in building a culture of safety among students and stated that similar events will be held on a regular basis.
