On December 11, an environmental event was organized by the Faculty of Oriental Philology of Uzbekistan State World Languages University on the initiative of Ulugbek Nazarov, Deputy Dean for Youth Affairs and Spiritual and Educational Work, and Japanese language teacher Kamei Yukari, with the participation of first-year students.

The main goal of the event was to enhance environmental awareness among young people and to strengthen practical skills related to environmental protection.

During the event held under the slogan “We Care About Nature”, students collected various types of waste accumulated on the university campus, sorted them by category, and placed them into designated bins. Additional explanations were provided on the ecological importance of proper waste separation.

In addition, students and teachers worked together to clear dry leaves from the area and carried out campus beautification activities. This not only helped keep the university grounds clean but also reinforced students’ sense of responsibility toward nature.
