Environmental Initiatives — Responsibility for the Future

On January 27, an environmental project presentation aimed at environmental protection, nature conservation, rational use of natural resources, and water conservation was held at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University on the initiative of the Central Council of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan.

The project presentation was attended by the Rector of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University, Ilhomjon Madaminovich Tukhtasinov, First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual and Educational Work Valijon Sadiyev, Advisor to the Rector on Youth Affairs Sevinch Islomova, as well as students and project initiators.

Within the framework of the presentation, environmental problems and their solutions, practical initiatives that can be implemented with the participation of young people, and issues related to promoting the project among the general public were thoroughly discussed. Participants put forward ideas aimed at enhancing environmental culture, increasing public environmental responsibility, and contributing to sustainable development.

In his speech, University Rector Ilhomjon Tukhtasinov emphasized that environmental issues have gained global significance today and stated that the university community would continue to pay close attention to such initiatives:

“Protecting the environment is one of the most important tasks of our time. Environmental projects aimed at raising environmental awareness among young people serve as a solid foundation for the future. Our university fully supports such initiatives,” said the rector.

The presentation of this environmental project was recognized as an important initiative aimed at strengthening environmental awareness and responsibility among young people.
